Time for the Rich Wheeler I Hate Mixed Doubles Event
Join us Sat, July 7, 2019 at 8:00 for the Fifth Annual Rich Wheeler I Hate Mixed Doubles event to benefit TCTP. Let’s continue to honor Rich’s memory and his support for TCTP by playing some fun tennis. We’ll play 3 rounds of 45 minutes each. You do not need a partner to sign up. Donations, large and small, will be gratefully accepted by TCTP and all donations are tax deductible. There will be a special raffle of fun goodies this year too. Contact Anne Graham, email@example.com for more information and to sign up.
Volunteer Training Day -- September 21, 2019
TCTP was pleased to kick off another year, our twenty-seventh, by holding our annual training event at Tucson Racquet Club. Thank you to the volunteers, some returning and some new to the program, for coming out and spending part of your Saturday morning with us. We have a feeling this will be one of our best years yet.
Our annual pottery sale was held on December 3. Thank you to Lyn Ashton for once again opening up your home to display the lovely pieces created by our very own Susan Grunebaum. We sold over 54 pieces to help support our field trips to work with and watch the University of Arizona Men's Tennis Team each year.
Annual Fall Tournament & Silent Auction -- Yet another big "thank you" to Tucson Racquet Club for hosting our Annual Fall Adult Tournament and Silent Auction Fundraiser on November 13. Thank you to the 49 teams who came out to enjoy an afternoon of good tennis, good food, good company, and of course, good "shopping." Big thanks, also, to Gretchen Schantz for directing our tournament and to Annabel Ratley, Dian Jazynka, and Peggy Ingraham for organizing and running the silent auction. It was a great afternoon.
Rich Wheeler Memorial Tennis Benefit -- The benefit was held on July 3 at Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club, and all proceeds went to TCTP. Thanks to the generosity of our tennis community, we raised just over $1,000. Thanks to Anne Graham, Bill Wallin, Laura Pendleton-Miller, and Val Smith for organizing such a fun event. Special thanks, as always, to Gretchen Schantz and the Tucson Racquet Club for allowing us use of your facilities and for providing balls for our tournament.
2016 May Shirt Sale at Tucson Racquet Club -- Our third annual shirt sale was a huge success. We sold over 140 shirts and received many generous donations. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tables, to our volunteers for helping us man the tables, and to the Tucson Racquet Club for allowing us to sell our beautifully designed shirts at the front door. We couldn't do what we do without the support from our community.

A great time was had by all.
